my screen has 2 little scratches on it, (and there is no screen protector on it).

anyone know a way to get the scratch out? or should i just let it be and wait to make an insurance claim?

thanks for the help/advice everyone. 🙂

Gotten anywhere with your screen scratch issue?

Lots of products out for the iphone to deal with scratches but from what I know any scratch remover is abrasive which might affect the quality of the glass in the end anyway.

The glass is replacable unlike the iphone but I am unaware if you could get a part

honestly, no lol. i researched for hours, then after all the work and bs involved, and the risk of messin up the screen more, (and cause its barely visible) i figured i would just wait till i broke it and claim insurance.

i was thinkin like the eyeglass repair thing on tv where you just use a qtip and wipe it on, but i cant find it locally.

not sure you know or not, but the phone actually comes with a screen protector on it. Thought I had scratched up my phone, but when I try to put a screen protector on it, the other one came off as I was trying to adjust the new protector on the screen. Double check from the corner, I bet that's what you have. I think BB did that from the factory to prevent the case of the iPhone issue.

yea..your phone should come with a screen protector already on.. check the edges of the screen, take a close look and see if its on.. only possible way that its not on is cause u took it off..

insurance charges $50 to exchange your phone.. i rather make up excuses and use the 1yr warranty instead of paying for that extra $50.. =] 😈 LOL!

I love the Invisible Shield product from Zagg http://www.zagg.com I installed it (carefully and followed instructions to the T) and not only does the screen not scratch but protects the whole phone. It also is not like those throw away screen protectors that get replaced often - this is very durable and so far not shown any scratches at all. It also did not have the corners lift etc. I am not sure if Verizon will replace the device for a scratched screen but this Zagg protector has been great for me. My .02.

Willv: Thought of you when I ran across this. THis site has replacement parts for the Storm and one of them is a screen. It's a bit pricey at $100 though but it's an option 😁
