I do a lot of reading/surfing on my current phone and from some of the reviwes I've seen, the Storm's web browser isnt all that great... like, it wont "fit to screen" when you zoom in.

Does anyone if they fixes this with the latest update released or are there any other browsers that would work with the Storm?

I've never had a BB before and I currently use Opera Mini on my Windows Mobile 6 phone.

Quickly looking over Operas website, they don't seem to support BB on their browsers.

Although I haven't installed it yet, Opera mini is available for the Storm.

From your Storm, go to www.operamini.com and follow the instructions from there

Oh that's great!

I'd be satisfied with just Opera, but the more, the better.... some sites work better with some browsers that others.

I didn't know IE was available for BB nor did I know Firefox had a mobile version.

I had actually been wanting a firefox for my Windows Mobile device.

Skyfire is a pretty good browser, but runs a bit slow on my Moto Q.... unfortunately, Skyfire isn't currently available for BB devices, but they are looking to support it.
Considering Skyfire is still in Beta stage, I'm not too worried about.

Oh really? That's great to hear, w00t lol.

Its what I currently use most of the time on my Q.

Can't wait to get mine in the mail soon.

Is the Opera browser faster than the oem one?
I know opera mini is very quick on my Q... even compared to the standard Opera mobile version.

IE and Firefox are not available, that I know of, for the Blackberry - the prior reply was referring to the emulation mode of the Blackberry browser which can be changed under Menu/Options/General Properties. IE and BB are available. Opera I found some compatibility issues and dead ends with the touch screen UI.
