BlackBerry Storm 9530
Anyone else own RIM stock
We got an e-mail from our broker about how the "failure" of the Storm has had a severe effect on the RIM company and it's stock levels. It mentioned that even the success of other current new RIM products (I assume they mean the Bold and others) could not stop the slide after initial reaction were in on the Storm.
It also stated that Verizons reluctance to release updated sales numbers of the Storm has further fueled negative speculation. Looks like Verizon is protecting it's own stock and throwing RIM to the wolves.
I went to check this morning after reading this and RIM is not doing well.

wow, you do not even understand what a broker does.
e-trade is not a true brokerage company. they are a simple financial service. they are a go between for privately initiated purchase and sale of stocks.
they are pretty much just an application that allows you to buy and sell. they are a penny stock company.
you do not use them anyway.

how do i not use etrade. i have stock that i play with on their. and here are other stock trading companys that do the same. see what i mean man you just like to talk people down. why is that.

RIM had taken a massive beating before the Storm was out because of delays in getting the Bold and the Storm to market. Neither one showed up in last quarters sales numbers. It will be interesting to see what happens when the numbers come out.
AT&T purposely delayed the Bold because of 3G network problems.
By the way nearly everything has taken a beating lately if some of you haven't noticed. I heard Apple is a good buy 🤣

I bought a block of RIMM last October- right after the Wall St. meltdown- figured since it went from $135 to $46, and with the release of the Bold and Storm coming up, i would make a killing! Now my wife is gonna kill me..I'm down a thousand bucks. Hope thier end of year report is good.
