BlackBerry Storm 9530
Going back to the curve for now.
After just a day with the Storm I am so sad to say I will be returning it.
I have two lines, a personal AT&T line and a business VZW line. I have an iPhone 3G on the AT&T line and a Curve on the VZW line.
After just a day with the Storm I already miss my Curve. I had thought that the Storm might bridge the gap between the Curve and the iPhone and I could start carrying only one device. The sad truth is that it is not as good a Blackberry as my Curve (nowhere near the quality of my business partners Blackberry Bold) and pales compared to my iPhone as a user friendly multi-media device. I would rather stick to two great task oriented devices than one that sort does everything but does nothing as well as it could.

I can see not liking the Storm when comparing it to the iphone, but not compared to the curve. it is better than the curve.

You can't make that statement. Everyone has their preferences, etc. Some people just aren't fans of touchscreen, and I don't see the business world jumping into the storm - just yet ... maybe in time...

Point taken. I guess if you wanted just a blackberry the curve might be better for you. If you wanted something more than a standard blackberry you have to admit the storm offers a lot.

To be truthful the closest BB to the Storm is the Bold, unfortunately for all, its one carrier or the other. It would be great if both major carriers had both, or have them after a reasonable exclusive.
Now, I have a Bold, and I think the Storm when they get the new software up and running will be fantastic. The choice between the two as someone here previously said is a choice of touch vs. non touch screens. And which one likes better.
I also don't like the fanboi side of this, if I was on VZW and bought the Storm, being the way it is at present I would return it and wait for improvements when they come. Its reasonable because of contracts and in the off chance the touch screen issues isn't improved.
