Verizon Slaps stickers over original ones!?!?!?
According to the boy genius report...verizon apparently slapped "newer" stickers over the original ones that were supposed to have a higher O.S......way to go!!!!

this isnt a big deal. They can ship the phone with one OS, and have the box showing another.

The basic issue is that rim sent them to Verizon before they flashed them with the new OS. Over the last couple of days Verizon has been furiously trying to update all of the phones they have. It is not that there arent enough phones manufactured...it is that there arent enough with the proper OS upgrade. There will be a steady stream of them available in stores over the next couple of weeks and then they will be easy to find....

Actually, Verizon was required to downgrade the OS, not upgrade, due to some security/bug issue with the software. Expect to see an update released in the near future...probably within the next couple of weeks.
