I would like to know if this phone will be able to run financial software such as Microsoft Money? I use my 7135 mainly as my checkbook using Ultrasoft Money and if this phone could run a similar program I would surely grab one. Any info would be appreciated.

I highly doubt it will run.. The phone's own internal applications do not run. The phone is very buggy.

1. The phone receiption is horrible.
2. The external caller id takes about five rings to establish a number to display, it never shows the name associated with the number.
3. The internal caller id, does not show the name associated with the number until you answer the call.
4. Most of the web pages intended for this phone do not function period!
5. The phone book is the worst, you have to scroll through all the names to get to an "L." So if I wanted to see my "L" entires I would normally type "5" three times, this phone tells you that there are no "555" entries. This is terrible.
6. The phone is huge, like a small brick in your pocket, I think you can kill someone with it. It looks like an original cell phone from the earily...

1. What general region do you live in. I am in VA. and I have experienced BETTER reception than my 7135.

2. I will monitor that...I just haven't noticed. Same for #3.

#5 had me curious...so I sat here for 45 minutes testing. I may not have as many entries as you (which might make a difference), but it worked properly for me. I'll have to add more contacts...I don't have that many friends!! 🙂 I found that if I had a last name of troman, I could tap 8-7-6 and it took me right to that area with 1-4 choices. Isn't that how it is supposed to work?

I was up till 3 fiddling with different things, and this is far better (IMVHO) than my 7135 brick. 🙂 Your points have me curious....so it looks like little sleep tonight as well.

1. I can't comment on this yet.
2. On mine, the phone number appears promptly (internally/externally), but the person's name isn't pulled from my contacts until about 5 rings (if the call doesn't go to VM first). However, if I take the call (even after the first ring), the caller's name is pulled up immediately. I would definitely say that this is a major bug, which I sincerely hope gets fixed promptly. This bug is so lame -- it irritates the hell out of me that they let this incredibly obvious and important feature get hosed!
4. I've had few difficulties with any sites.
5. I got thrown by this at first, but it actual works quite well for me. I had to read about and comprehend the way T9 text entry works, which I now like a lot!
6. Consi...
