I spent about an hour on the phone today with Sprint trying to find out if this phone was available. Mostly I was told I had the "wrong" model number and the one I "wanted" was the i500. The only person who seemed to even know this phone existed was a voice in the background background saying the relase has been delayed to November.
Has anyone actually PURCHASED this phone for use on the Sprint network???

đ Rumor is that the phone will be released this week, with a hoped-for target of August 31.

my friend heard the same rumor... but i doubt the store will have them in stock - they might do what Verizon does - special order only. Usually takes only two business days to get it. I guess its an insurance risk having them in stock in a retail outlet. I don't know???

the best guess is that direct telephone sales will have them first, then the website (which I understand updates weekly on Sundays), then the Sprint stores, then BB.

the phone is still being tested in the market and from rumors that I have heard is there are a lot of kinks that have to be worked out with the phone and the software in order to properly work. . . I heard that it is nice and is only 1 of 2 systems that is compatible with Windows CE . . .but it is still in testing
