Has anyone had this problem with the eternity......I cannot receive pictures from friends in another network (verizon, sprint)outside ATT network - message will read "unsupported image file". It's a standard picture taken with a camera but cannot be viewed.....

Everyone else at work has Verizon and when they send me a pic message, it shows the JPEG as having a .jpgg extension and shows it as "an invalid file type" and therefore, can't save or view the picture. The phone is also about 50/50 on being able to view short movie clips sent from ANYONE. When opening up a MMS with a video clip, the screen will always be blank, but the "pause" button will be in upper left. Once the clip has played the "start" button appears. Thanks for your response.......I was able to view my pics after uploading into my computer and removing the 2nd "g" from the jpeg - then upload back into the phone. I have also viewed threads from samsung eternity site forum who have many suggestions for eternity users......very helpful.

I haven't given up yet......I like the phone, the users have indicated that the software will get updated at some point........ 🙄
