I'd love to see this one under at&t. T-Mobile, minus the lack of 3G, seems to have the best phones.

The Bold is so-so, IMHO; and I could give a **** about the iPhone. Verizon has good phones, too. I'm sure at&t will catch up. But when?!

yeah I feel ya...

verizon has been much better about phones lately, but still a little slow on the smartphone front.

I would rather have the network, than get the newest phones first....but to each their own.

What about their EnV and Glyde. I paid $199 for the Glyde this is NOT even a PDA.

Their EnV at the time was $149

I don't mind paying that price or higher for a PDA but not for a regular phone.

YOU PAID THE PRICE!!!

That was a choice YOU made, and the gylde is a terrible phone, I cant believe anyone is buying that thing. The curve is currently 99 bucks on a 2 year. I would say that is pretty fair price for the best smartphone that verizon offers (in my opinion).

yeah but cw - TM has the sidekick -- there are a lot of people that have the different sidekicks.

yeah they only really have one out at a time. The sidekick is cool. But has been out shined by more capable smartphones and blackberries.

T-mobile can have the sidekick, there are plenty of other qwerty phones available now. When the SK came out it was revolutionary, not so much anymore.

whats funny though - it is the evolution of the sidekick that forced the other companies to come out with handsets with the Qwerty keyboard.

I would wager that 85% of tmobile customers have the sidekick. It is an unreal popular phone.

I would wager that your estimate is wrong. the phone is too expensive to be owned by 85% of the market. My guess would be between 10-20% and even that could be a little high.

Majority of people in the US still just want the "free phone" they could care less about a sidekick.

Minus the "all the cool Nokia's" part, the coolest Nokia of all is in my hand while I type to you, the N95-3, the best phone Nokia has to off that AT&T REFUSES to carry. So I bought mine on ebay.

Now that Tmo has a 3G network I will be very interested to see what 3G handsets they put out in 2009 that AT&T doesn't.

3G for gsm is a joke anyway. Instead of putting out phones with 3G radios, these companies need to work on expanding their 3G coverage.
