I recently got my omnia and so far I like it. I tried putting some mp3's in the my music folder and was shown a message that i ran out of space, so I deleted them. Ive since put 1 mp3 that I use as a ringtone in the my storage area. NNow every few seconds a box pops up on the main screen that says "Storage memory is critically low. if the storage memory is not increased, other programs may not be able to start, use file explorer to delete files that are no longer needed or move some files to a storage card." So I go to file explorer and it shows that my storage memory is pretty much used up. What do i delete? i see no files, can anyone help me out??

I have similar issues. I can't figure out how to get my mp3's to go onto the 8GB internal memory. When I use activesync it tells me I don't have enough room. Any help would be appreciated!

When putting mp3's or anything on the Omnia change the usb to pc mode to Mass Storage Mode instead of Activesync! If its sayin storage memory too low then your most likely putting everything in the Device Memory and not the 8gb My Storage part! The Device memory cant hold much. Only get about 97MB of free space. I've got bout 200 songs and a movie and a BUNCH of 3rd party programs and games on mine and still have lots of memory left over...then again i put most of the media onto my MicroSD card and just use the My Storage (8gb) for majority of programs and for my ringtones!

You can still use ActiveSync. When the browser comes up, you simply have to select the "My Sevice" (Icon picture of a phone), and then "My Storage" (Should have a little card icon on the folder.
Also, there are several other memory saving techniques, such as relocating your internet cache (HUGE HELP) to the 8GB, and other similar things.
Look it up at samsung-omnia.org it's a great community, with lots of helpful posts. Thru them, I now have Pandora radio, a full YouTube client, with download and MP3 extraction capability, and the best memory management practices out there.

I was going to say what you said....except its kind of easy to understand D:

when you connect your omnia to your PC, click on "exlore files" and then it'll display alot of folders such as "my documents" "my ringtones" "my music" "my pictures" "my storage" ETC...

Click on my storage...and that will take you to the 8GB storage the Omnia came with...it'll be better to organize it so its under a folder like "Music Folder" or "Music Files"

So it wont make it hard to browse for a certain kind of program, picture, video, etc...

DONE!! Something else that may help...
"Version 1.4.1 of VZAppZone is known to cause problems with the internal memory. Error: Storage memory is critically low, if the storage memory is not increased other programs may not be able to start. Upgrading to 1.4.2 of VZAppZone resolves this issue."

If you, also, attempted to remove the app...go to http://ota.getvzappzone.com and download the new version free.

It gave me about 20MBs! 😁

Hope this helps.
