Notification Issue

funneverends

I put a few phone numbers in the area to be able to make emergency calls if the phone is locked. Now every time I call these numbers a notification pops up stating emergency calls can only be made for emergencies. It only goes away if I shut off the phone. I also tried to take the numbers out of the emergency list and the phone won't let me. Can anyone help?

I had that problem too, when making a call and you get that message, there should be a button at the top of the screen to cancel emergency mode.

I tried taking out the numbers from my emeregency contact but i still got the same problem.

I eventually wanted to reformat my main memory for another reason, and incidentally that fixed the emergency call problem as well.

if you kept everything in your 8gb 'storage' memory, you can reformat your phone's 'main' memory without messsing with the storage (ie pictures, mp3s ect) but make sure you back up your contacts on your computer cos you'll loose all that in a format.

So, are you saying that I can reformat my main memory and this will solve my problem of having my phone "dial" emergency numbers from the locked keypad while the phone is in my pocket. I want to disable it from dialing emergency numbers when the phone is locked.

Thanks!
