Samsung Omnia i910

I've had this phone now for a while and I love it, but I have to say I'm a bit annoyed with a few little features. I'm able to set a song as a text message alert. when my phone is not on vibrate, of course it plays the alert nice and clear. But, on my previous verizon phone (LG voyager) if I had an incoming text message and wanted to stop the sound of the alert, i would basically just press any button to stop it. This phone doesn't do that, you have to press the end button everytime and if you're in an "ongoing" conversation with someone through SMS, when u have to press the end button, it goes back to the main screen and you have to re-open your messages to look back at what the person sent. I don't like this. Also, if my volume is on and I'm on a phone call, when I get a text message while talking with the other person, my text message alert STILL goes off while you're on the phone call! the other person can hear the alert as well and if you have a song that's set to a funky country song, i doubt they'd want to stay on the phone with you. the only way to turn off the alert also while on a phone call is to hit the end button, which ends the call. I've tried everything to figure this out. if this continues, it may be just the right amount of annoyance to make me want to get a new phone......is anyone having this problem too????
