I just downloaded the latest version of Skype on my phone and it works great! This is the linkhttp://www.skype.com/download/skype/windo wsmobile/ Download it to your computer first then install it through active sync, it works better and faster this way. Save it to you Storage Memory. I also downloaded Youtubeplay, Google Maps, and I also listen to streaming radio on www.pdatuner.com with my Internet Explorer on the phone.

I've been trying to install it from my sd card but get an error message that it is not a valid pocket pc application and quits the install.

Was able to (finally) install Skype and it works fine when I've got a WiFi connection.

is this listening less than quality? from the pdatuner i am referring to. is there anything out there like pandora or as good as for the omnia, with crisp sound?

I just returned from an extended holiday in Ireland. SKYPE on my OMNIA worked fine whenever I was in a good WiFi area. Voice quality was reported as fine though when calling other VOIP phones there was some echo.
