is this the Haptic?

Is this the U.S. version of the Samsung Haptic? this phone has been the rant and rave in Korea for the past few months. People are paying upwards of $600+ to get this phone over there!

i wonder how it will do here. i just ordered it for overnight shipping...

The Omnia does have haptics, but no, the Korean "Haptic" is not a Windows Mobile device, so it's quite different. The Haptic also has DMB (which is useless here) and only a 2-megapixel camera (not nearly as good as the Omnia.)

So are you saying you ordered a Haptic, or an Omnia?

If you ordered a Haptic, are you dealing with a US importer that will get your Haptic up and running on Verizon for you? If not, I hope you understand that it is very difficult to get a Korean phone working with Verizon's network. You should also know that you won't have full coverage and most of the advanced features won't work.
