Smart Reader
Has anyone had any luck using the Smart Reader to take pictures of documents? It works well to scan business cards, but when taking pictures of documents I haven't been able to open them up in word mobile. Anyone else figure this out?

I can't even get it to read a black and white business card. Seems like a cool application, if it only worked!

I have gotten it to add a business card to my contacts. i wasn't aware you could add documents. Although there is a setting in the camera for taking pics of documents, perhaps this has to be turned on in order to read the document.

How did you get it to work? I put the card on the phone, pressed the camera button and got a message saying that it didn't recognize the image. Seemed pretty simple to do, but I must have missed something.

You DON'T put the card on the phone. You take a picture of it after lining up the cards image in the brackets. Hope that helps.

It's only meant to read business cards, not documents.
get a scanner and a full version of acrobat if you want to read full documents. 😉

I selected the program, set the business card on the counter. Fit the business card within the brackets on the screen & the phone focused and took the image. then i added the info to my contacts.
