getting notifcation sounds to repeat

I'm in sounds & notifications. I want my sound for text messages to repeat, so that I don't miss them. The option for repeat is grayed out. Is there anyway to enable this.. through the registry possibly?

I wish I had the answer to this. I would like to have repeats too since I often don't hear the first and then don't see the notifications for some time.
