Overall Texting

How would you rate the texting overall?
Texting on touch screens is tough so I'm curious as to how you would rate this phone from a MAJOR texter's standpoint. Thanks

Honestly. I'm having a hard time with this phone. I make many typos. It's just too small. The funny thing is though is that the Samsung Eternity, which looks much like this phone but isn't a smartphone has a better keyboard than what they put on this one. If you have larger fingers I wouldn't recommend this one, it also isn't the most touch responsive phone I've used, sometimes you need to click something a few times.

I noticed that the screen could be more responsive too. Even in the review video on this sight you notice he has to click multiple times on several occasions. Like when he is trying to turn off the music.

I will say that it has the most built-in keyboard flexibility and options I think I have ever have seen.

Samsung has added three finger-friendly keyboards (QWERTY, 20-key, and 12-key), all of which work in both portrait and landscape.

It also has XT9 word prediction and auto-correction. Tweaking the settings for this and learning to trust the auto-correction makes a big difference (just like on the iPhone.)

It also has haptic feedback. You can adjust the strength or turn it off. The nice thing is there isn't a long delay to the feedback like some other phones. I usually turn off haptics, but on this phone I found myself liking it on the lowest setting.

Plus, since it's Windows Mobile, you can add keyboards via third-party softwar...
