Better than iPhone or Storm

cleolicious

This new Omnia i910 device actually surpasses both the iPhone and The Storm. Just do a side-by-side comparison of each and you will see the features. It's a Windows Mobile OS so it's more advanced. Also, you don;t have to pay the extra monthly Blackberry fee when syncing your phone via MS Exchange.

The iPhone is a let down. It has no actual talking GPS so it's basically useless when driving. It's no netter than Google Maps. The iPhone also doesn't have a cut n' paste feature. That's an important feature in a business. It also have no external memory. The iPhone is pretty but it lacks standard features that have been available to the public for years now.

I tried out the storm and this new "click" keyboard they have is a bit demandin...

Just how long have you been using the Omnia and the iPhone and the Storm again? It must be a significant time with each of them to make such a comparison.

Wow. You obviously have some serious anger issues. Do you have nothing better to do with your time than to post sh*tty comments to people on Phonescoop.com of all places? I mean, at least go find yourself a politics forum on Craigslist! This is MY opinion of the phones. That's what this forum is for. I've actually spent a good amount of time with both the iPhone and The Storm. All you need is about 30 minutes on a device to see what it can or cannot do. Did I insult you personally? I don't even know who you are. If you can't handle reading other people's opinions in a forum about electronic devices without getting so upset then you need to see a therapist. Get a life.

Do you have anything better to do than post fanboy rants misrepresenting your experiences and presenting baseless opinion as fact?

LOL! Dude, you're right. I'm such a bad person. Thanks for pointing this out to me. Who am I to have an opinion on Phonescoop? I might as well go kill myself now. Thanks for showing me what a worthless maggot I am. Because of you, this world will now be free of one less fanboy ranter misrepresenting who misrepresents his experiences while presenting baseless opinion as fact. Thanks GOD for heros like you! Society owes you big time.

You can keep your passive-aggressive retorts to yourself. They make you seem childish.

As far as you original post, learn to present your opinions clearly as such. Learn to express your ideas as your own and not as concrete statements of facts.

it depends what you need in a phone, i personally think that the iphone is a power house when it comes to media, but as for business and productivity the blackberry and the omnia is the best along with other business phones, but i heard even business people use the iphone, dont know how? anyway i just really depends on you personal prefence, im sorry to say this but by statistics and history the iphone is on the top for the moment, but others (Samsung,lg,blackberry, htc, google phones, etc) are catching up by leaps and bounds, so you are entitiled to you personal opinion but what others fail to realized is that its all about personal preferance,,i would have an iphone if one the 3g network coverage has to be larger, and two make another whole ...

While I work for VZW as a Tech Manager, I am not a fanboy. I deal with phones that come back when 'oops' happens. I have had smartphones for over 4 years (see my review of this phone), and based on my previous experience with smartphones including the i760, I bought this little gem. I have had it for three days, and other than the battery life and stylus, I like it a lot and recommend it if you have a need for a business phone. No need to character assassinate, slam other carriers, life in general.

Folks, this is a site dedicated to phones. People post. People have opinions. People will disagree. Oh, well.

Do you think there may be an extended battery. I used mine last night to get to know it and the battery was drained within 2 hours.

BigRed83-
Thanks for your reply. I think you made a great point...this is a website for opinions regarding cell phones....we need to just take the information that is of best use to us and don't worry about the rest....

I really appreciate your input....I believe I will be buying the Omnia based off of what I am finding in my research. I spent Thanksgiving day and 2 days after trying out the Storm and didn't really like it. Seemed too hard to use. I want more than the Dare can offer....wonder what you would say if I asked should I wait a couple of months and let the "bugs" get worked out of the Omnia and Storm before I buy....? Appreciate your input. thanks.

Why would anyone be banned for simply pointing out that you were talking out your backside about phones you have no experience with? I agree. Your little rants were childish and you need to learn to present your opinions better.

wow holy sidetracked thread. Now i have used this phone, inactive an activated, and wow. we were able to drop ship today, and i am having storm potentials try it. now i dont have a ton of experience with previous windows devices, aside from coworkers being wary, and knowing the quirky 6900's issues. but 6.1 eems very smooth, responsive, and accurate, aside from minor misdialing on dialpad. camera has so many cool functions, try the self shooting panorama mode. up down, left, right, very fun. seriously try this baby out. sexy, with a nice in the palm feel. i have only had very limited experience with Ipone, but seems better than storm unles you want to remain blackbery, want to evade windows at all costs, or need global feature. st...

I used WM 6.0 on my i760 and it worked fine. I actually liked the format better than Blackberry's system. I liked Blackberry's handsets better.

I will say I like iPhones system above all of them but iPhone lacks one needed feature. Document creation and editing.
