i have been getting different answers from people at tmobile. One person says i can have the tmobile 5.99 web on the behold and can use the full web no problem.
But then i get another answer from someone else telling me the full internet package of 19.99 is the one i have to get.
can someone who actually knows the answer help me out.
thanks

Here is what we were told:

10.00 for 5MB plus a bunch of text messages, I think 400.
10.00 for 10MB of Internet only, with x dollars per extra MB with a $15.00 cap. No text msgs.
20.00 for unlimited Internet, maybe it was $25.

Hope that gets you in the ballpark. That was in San Diego. Could be anything anyplace else depending on who you talk with. They had not even been trained when I first asked about Web2Go, and most answers from CS were blatantly wrong and acknowledged as such as I pointed out their errors. What a joke, but they are supposedly better than others.

For reference, on my home computer yesterday, according to a Network Magic report, I used 150MB, but I know that had tons of graphics and work-related files, so ...

Well, as things turned out, the sales rep was full of C$*P. The only plan available supposedly NOW is 25 buck a month because this is a smart phone. I have read that it is not, but TM says it is so it is. Both their website and their mouths ar B&M have changed, so basically, we have to pay an additional 200 bucks a year to use the web functions a couple times a month. I think this puppy is going back PLUS...

After 10 days with this phone, two major functions have failed until power reset. Bottom line, could not change an entry from business group to family, and when we hit the phone function or address book, nothing would happen until power recycle. CS is saying maybe master reset, but mentioned several times to return it because of B...

About your data plan...

If you log into my.t-mobile.com and change the phone you're using to just a basic handset (like a razr), you'll have the cheaper data plans to choose from as opposed to the "smartphone" plans.

i have the $5.99 wap plan and the internet works fine on my behold, i was also told that i would need to pay 25$ a month for the unlm data but chose to leave my plan as it was while i made sure i like the phone but it worked imediately, so why pay 25$ for something you can get for $5.99?

Thank you so much! This worked. I was hot and ready to switch to another carrier after 8 years when they told me the only plan I could get was the $24.99 plan.

I don't mean to burst anyone's bubble, correct me if im wrong, but, I just called T-mobile and they don't offer that t-zones anymore. the $5.99/month one? yeah, that is no longer available.

those that had it may keep it, but, those trying to get it can't. $24.99 and up for data plans.

i hope i'm wrong about this

Actually, you're right about T-Zones but you can use the 9.99 web2go plan.

There's a trick to getting it... Log into your account online, change they type of handset you're using to a basic phone, and then you can add the web2go data plan under "add services". If you don't change the type of handset you're using from the Behold to a basic phone, then you'll only have the smartphone options. If you have a texting plan already, you should have an option for a 9.99 web2go plan that gives you 100mbs instead of 50.

Give that a shot and see if that works for you. When I had the "total internet" plan, the website didn't give me but smartphone data plans to select from but when I changed the phone I was using to a RAZR, I was able to select t...
