What have you ever used a blackberry? No way its as efficient as a blackberry for heavy, power users. NO WAY! Im not saying its a bad phone, but if you have to hammer out 150 texts, and 150 emails a day, I guarantee you will spend more time doing that on the G1.
And as far as data speeds. I would put a blackberry storm with Rev A up against any tmobile 3G enabled device in terms of speed.
And apple doesn't suck. I dont have an iphone, nor do I want one. But apple completely changed the game in terms of smart phones and pushed every carrier to do better. Its also one of the best selling smartphones in the world. So no, it doesnt "suck"
