Keyboard on White version
From pictures I have viewed online, I think the keyboard on the White model is exactly the same as the one on the Bronze model. Any confirmation? The keyboard sucks because it's so hard to see.

I have played with the black one just at the store and the white characters on black keys work just fine. They are actually visibile, which is a nicety.

There is no White G1, that is just the concept phone.
Unless it's something they are holding off on because companies like Samsung and RIMs like to start releasing different colors as the months roll by.
