HTC G1

I don't have, nor do I really want a G1. And while I think android is great start for a smartphone OS, Im not sure the G1 is the android device I would pick up.

If I were you, coming from a blackberry, I would stick with a blackberry. It sounds like the G1 is lacking in several key areas and I think after the "newness" of the G1 wears off, your left with a phone that just isn't as capable as a good blackberry--In my opinion.

T-mobile is supposed to getting the new blackberry curve 2 (8900) hopefully by the end of the year or in early 2009. Check out crackberry.com for more info and they do have a video review available.

Once again, im not really bashing the G1, I just think that coming from a BB, if you like that platform--I would stick with it. The G1 will change the game a little bit, but its just not as polished as the Blackberry OS.
