How loud is it? And Ringtones?

Just wondering, I finally got to see and feel a non working model. I've been to about 3 verizon places around here and they all looked at me like I was nuts when I asked about this phone. So I gave them the model number at Circuit City and they had a non working deal... now... I was curious.. how loud is this phone? I have previously had the Samsung u540 (VERY LOUD)
and the Samsung A950 (Also pretty darn loud) So I was hoping that this one was pretty close to these other two. Also, is this phone open to saving your own ringtones as other phones have been? thank you all very much for your time.

Huh? All the VZW outlets in my area have them (Rockvile/Gaithersburg/Germantown, Maryland). I have had the Renown for about a month or more and it is the best clamshell VZW has now. The loudness varies according to how you set it. It is as loud as you want or as soft as you want. None of the VZW phones are open to saving your own ringtones anymore.

I'm in the Elmira/Horseheads Southern Tier New York area... I actually have to give them the model number to see the dummy phone... they had no clue what the renown is actually. I have found more than once that I've been more knowledgeable about the phones then the verizon employees which proves to be trying hahaha. That's too bad about the ringtones thing. the new lg's still allow free tones, as do the new blackberries and UT starcom... The new LG's work on bitpim and to sending tones. I don't know if I want to switch brands. I've been a loyal samsung girl for quite some time now. I will have to keep researching...

I finally tested a live copy of this phone. The ringtones are very clear and loud. And I was able to save a tone to it for free using the vzw.com emailing way. Pretty impressive phone!
