really? Do you know when it's coming out in black? The guy at the sprint store told me it was just some rumor and didn't know when or IF it was going to be in black...

it is definitely coming out in silver, black and pink. As of right now there is not a particular date when the black and the pink color will be coming out...It should be no later than Oct 1st though

If you check out this grid: excel sheet...
Says pink and black due out in october, I imagine this week, sprint users: dial:
1-800-974-2221, Or ask to be transfered to Tele-sales they have lot more info than stores do sometimes. I have Katana DLX, anyone notice difference on the Eclipse. I do want a new phone not sure what phone though. I hear palm, sony ericcson, and HTC all have new one's touch diamond comes out this week by HTC.
I keep getting the Your call couldn't be validated message... when I dial out. IT's programming glitch w/ sprint right now! IT BLOWS. can't make/receive call, or send/receive texts. Check out:

What is the XUI interface for the new black and pink versions coming out?

It also says that the silver is a non-XUI interface and is EOL when the new colors come out.

Thats a good question. I was wondering the same thing.

EOL is end of life.

I was this past Saturday that the black model comes out on the 16th but it takes a while for stores to get them. Is that really true? They had the silver Eclipse the day it came out...In fact they had it before but couldn't take it out. I think I'll still head down to the store on the 16th or 17th.

Any word on if radioshack or other re-sellers will get it right away?

I've been waiting for the black version to come out too.

I see all the other new phones went up on the Sprint website today. The gray Eclipse was removed from the website...but the black and pink versions have not been added. So right now, there are no Eclipses for sale on the Sprint website.

Anyone have any info?

I talked to the guy at our radioshack yesterday and he says they will be getting them there either this week or next week. Sounds above right since it was scheduled for the 16th. But the rant was too and it came out yesterday....Basically, expect the black katana in the next 2 weeks 🙂

the reason we removed the silver ones from the line up for now is because we will be relaunching the black silver and pick all with the new sprint one click OS on it. No telling exactly when it will be but weve been getting mad paperwork and selling stuff for it at my store so im sure it will be very soon. DEC 1 maybe? anyways it will have new updates for it and like i said the new one click. If you love katanas you love the eclipse. Its everything the dlx was and more. and its looks better.
