I have tried to gain the real internet experience on the Opera browser and have been unsuccessful. When I type in yahoo.com it defaults to the mobile version. I went into internet options and saw a mobile view option to select or deselect. This option is unselected,. I don't even know if this option has anything to do with gaining access to the real internet or not. I was tolsd that the actual yahoo website in mobile mode will ask you if you want to view it in standard mode. Where is this option? If anyone can tell me how to operat the browser to gain the real internet please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😛

Use this link. Then bookmark it for future reference. If that doesnt work, they way I got to it is going to yahoo.com on the phone. Then when it goes to the mobile mode, hit the url bar>erase the "m.">and enter again.

us.yahoo.com/?tsrc=yahoo

I don't know why the phone does this, I guess it is Opera Mobile but it redirects you to mobile versions (if available) of website.

Like for instance if I type in espn.com in th Opera Browser, it goes to the mobile version. But is I type in espn.go.com, it goes to the desktop version.

Wow Thankyou. 😁 Knowone has responded on the Advocate website to this issue. Plus I am new to Windows mobile. If you go to Windowsmobiletrainig.com you can take 22 sourses and recieve free stuff like Xbox 360 games, hardware, PC games, PC harware and much more. I learned a lot from this website. Of course knowhere does it state anything about how to use the opera browser of course. Plus even operas website doesnot givae any info about this. Is there a link you can send or more info on other websites that need these special addresses to work. Or is it trial and error.

I'm curious what are the differences between Opera Mini 4.1, and Opera Mobile? Can you make folders for different categories of websites, like Mobile Tech, News, General Info. I'd like to be able to make folders.

I do not take credit for this fix but if you go into opera and type into the url opera:config then scroll down to user agent then scroll down to Customer User-Agent and type in Mozilla/4.0 (Compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 6.0; en)

98% of your websites will appear full (cnn, yahoo, google, etc) a few might still redirect you but this will mostly fix the problem...

once again i do not take credit for this fix, i found this on a forum elsewhere
