Sprint TV application

For those of you who have this phone:

1) do you see CNN under channel listing of Sprint TV app?

2) when I opened the TV application for the first time, it came up with a message that I need to update. Once I went ahead with it, another message popped up stating that the old version will be removed. A "yes" on that brought another message that the application could not be removed and the upgrade failed. Has anyone else seen the same behavior?

Be carefull with the updates for now!! I have seen this issue as well. A hard reset must be done to restore the phone. Then try again the update again. The Instinct is the same way in that when upgrade for Sprint TV appears you perform the action then only 3 or 4 channels show up under the live tv icon. A reset must be performed, then do the upgrade again. This usually is a provisioning issue. Blackberry's are the same you have to provision them at least three times for everything to download properly. Provisioning is usually always the reason for the failing update.

Thanks. I have also contacted Tech Support. However, I am not sure if I will get any help from them.

If you still have this issue there is a way to provision this phone to work properly. type in ##3282# then choose edit. You will need the lock code or msl for entering the phone data programing Choose... edit>ente 1 in the active profile if it shows a 0. This will usuallt silve a provisioning issue and you shoulr be able to view Sprint TV, browse, and use practically anything with data.
