I wondered if anyone knows if there is any difference between the HTC Diamnd and the HTC Pro except for the keyboard.

I also wondered will Sprint get both phones at the same time>

Does neither of the phones take an SD card of any type?

Does the HTC diamond let you assign ringtones to different callers?

Im just full of questions while I am in need of a new phone I am trying to wait for the Keyboard Pro.

Thanks in advance for any info anyone has

There will be a bit differant of a layout when you slide the keys up with the option of what application you decide to use with the keyboard. this is going to be almost identical to the favorites page on the diamond.

as far as memory, the touch pro will have a microsd card slot that can support up to 16G from what i have seen.

you will be able to assign differant ringtones to certain contacts, but they will still have to be mp3 tones rather than something purchased through sprint, that is fairly standard on all windows mobile devices.

other than the keyboard and the memory there really isn't going to be much of a differance besides the considerable differance in the thickness of the device. the touch pro is slated to be released 10/...

The Touch Pro will have a better battery go to this link and compare for yourself. http://www.htc.com/www/product.aspx?id=49518
There you go, now read and learn. Plus I am going to give all of you some very helpful info.
Go to www.windowsmobiletraining.com
Learn Windows Mobile extensively in the 28 courses they have for Sprint. There is a bonus too. You will recieve up to 2800 points after completing their courses to purchase XBOX 360 games and hardware, ?Microsoft games and hardware, and more....

Diamond is a good phone for a reqular everyday user. Good quality, fast internet, 3.2mega pixel camera, 4gb internal memory and many other features that most phones dont offer. Check out link above and go to htc.com the original phone design is amazing sprint managed to downgrade the phone design ☚ī¸ i hope htc will make it avaliable. The pro on the other hand supports up to 16gb which is not even avaliable on the market yet, how cool. Faster internet but who cares both phones are super fast, and longer battery life which is a plus for those having battery problems hope Pro doesn't. But im sure sprint and Htc will find a solution for this. Pro has more rom and ram and comes with a flash for the 3.2 camera. 😎

I read right here on our favorite website that 16GB microsd cards will be available sometime in October, and well here we are on the 13th day.

Personally I am plenty happy with my 8gig card, I still have 3,5gigs free.

Did you know 8gb cards are all the way down to $26 dollars on ebay? That's an amazing price!!! Better than paying $200 for an 8gb ipod that's for damn sure!!!

The Pro battery life in the link is quoted off of gsm and world cdma, not cdma 1900 which is sprints spectrum.
