Bad Battery
I have the Sprint HTC Touch Diamond And I absolutely love all the features this phone has however one day i charged my phone fully and didnt watch tv, no navigation, didnt text anyone, nor did i go on the internet and the phone was completely dead after three hours and its been like this since I got the phone. like i said EXCELLENT Phone features but the battery life i very very bad on my phone. i would hate to pair up a bluetooth to it because then i would probably only really get like 2 hours out of the phone. ANYBODY ELSE HAD THIS PROBLEM YET?

i have had that problem... the first day i got it i activated it on the stores demo account (which was an adventure to begin with) and then let it charge for 8 or so hours before using it.
of course since i was like a caged animal the whole time it was charging as soon as i started playing with it... i went crazy...
downlading music, testing the tv, testing the gps, teeter is addictive as hell (but far too short)
and the battery died... i wasnt surprised ... i was really pushing the thing...
so i charge it overnight and head off to work the next day... i didnt have time to fiddle with the phone that much until about 3 that day and had been using my mogul for texts and calls... not being used at all from 8 till 3 it exhausted 75...

The battery does drain very fast with everything that it can do and the VGA screen. Try a couple of these things to improve battery life.
In the weather application, default setting is to download weather automatically. Unclick it so that it only connnects to data to download weather when you press the update button.
Change your email settings to send/receive after a longer period of time. Or just when you manually press the button. Because it will connect less to get your email, it should help a lot.
Lastly, default screen setting is set to brighten and dim per the light sensor. You can disable the light sensor and set the screen to the brightness you prefer.

Another good thing is to set, when you press the "X" button in the top right corner you actually close that app and shut it down instead of just closing the window and having it run in the background. Default setting is to close apps by tapping and holding "X". This will save memory and battery. The path to get there is below.
Settings>System>Task Manager>Button>End programs by tapping "X"
