hello everyone,

does anyone know how to remove "dead icons" from the programs page...for example I downloaded and installed an application but did not like it so i uninstalled it but yet it still leaves behind the icon for that program. I would like to remove it because it is just taking up space and it doesn't even work (open).

please some one help!

thanks in advance.

If you go to the setting section of your pro, then system tab, you will find the icon "Remove Programs". That should do ya fine.

well if you do what he said you can remove programs that YOU have installed, if you just want to get rid of the icons that you dont use in the main menu, you can go to

start-->programs-->file explorer--->windows-->start menu--> hols the stylus on whatever you want to delete and a menu will pop up, select delete and the icon wont be in the start menu/program menu again.

if you delete this you wont be able to get it back unless you do a hard reset so be careful.
