Verizon sticks it to its customers

Verizon has done it yet again by eliminating the ample RAM from this phone.

They are charging more money than anyone else, and they have given less capability than anyone else. Great how that works.

They have cut the RAM in half, choosing to give you 128 MB of RAM instead of the 288 MB that it has by default and is offered in all the other carriers phones.

The CPU is at the full speed of 528 MHZ however Verizon has not been able to verify whether the accelerometer is active.

I know that I really wanted the RAM for applications that I need. They did the same thing with the XV6800.

The fact that they downgrade their phone and charge more for it is disappointing

...as per HTC web site the verizon version has 192 mb RAM, not 128. I'm no genius, but im pretty 192 is nopt half of 288(sprint et al). People just jump on that bashing bandwagon and run with it. The onmia has 128 ram and people are sweating it hardcore!

... as per Verizon's web site, their version has 128 MB of RAM. I'm no genius, but im pretty sure that 128 is less than half of 288. People just love to point out the truth according to what Verizon's website says.

If Verizon doesn't even know what they have in their phone, then I dont know what to say.

I will know for sure what Verizon has in their phone as soon as I have a chance to see it in the store.

Ok, so I have now seen the phone in the store. Verizon is obviously confused about what they put in their phone on their website.

The Verizon website is incorrect and the phone really does have 192 MB of RAM. However, with Windows Mobile and Touch Flow 3D running, there is only 60 MB of usable program RAM left. This really stinks in my books.
