can I-phone junkies please stop buying WinMo phones and calling it crap because its not apple? please dont post a review if its going to be biased. even a broken iphone would get 2 stars and 1 star is just plain mean.

Im sure most of them didn't even buy the phone, they just say they did so they can write a review and talk about the iphone. There should really be a no mentioning other phones in the user review rule. Would save a lot of time and hassle for people seriously looking for information on what phone they should get.

I look at WM as a working horse which may be ugly from some angles but does the job. iPhone is more like a nice toy made with a good taste.

agreed, however i still think that if they like thier phones so much they should stay away from WinMo. It makes it really hard to make an informed decision when you have someone posting bad reviews just because they like something else. if i didnt own the touch pro myself i would be discouraged because just like me most people look at the bad reviews first and then the good ones just to guage how the device is going to work for me. i know if the first thing i saw was that biased review i would have to rethink me decision to buy my phone. the touch pro is the BEST WINMO phone availble in the market right now. does everything it is supposed to, and its upsetting that someone can take away from that because they are too cool for windows.

It isn't that the iPhone is a bad device, it isn't. It does exactly what it is supposed to do and is a great phone alternative is what it does is what you are looking for. A lot of people need something different though, something only WinMo can provide. It is unfair that people looking for a powerful smartphone have to get swayed by Apple fanatics (Apple fans are fine, its the fanatics we are griping about) who love to bash anything that isn't iPhone. I'm surprised they don't bust into churches screaming at people because their god isn't as great as the iPhone...

Somehow I get the sense that you are referring to my review of this phone.
Yes, I have an iPhone, and the device is not perfect. The camera is a joke, you cannot move contacts from the phone to the SIM card, no removable battery, no MMS, etc. What it DOES have is ease of use. In my brief experience with the Sprint HTC Touch Pro, it was not easy to use. When I returned the device, the Sprint rep said some folks love WinMo, some folks just hate it. I was just unimpressed. I WANTED this phone to change my mind and stay with Sprint, but it came up short.
Right now I am trying out an unlocked Nokia E71 in my quest to find that personal iPhone killer.

If you find the Nokia is not it, another possibility would be the Blackberry Storm, but it's Verizon only in the US

Hawkeye - I remembered this reply as I was wading through all of the flack the Storm is getting. You seem to really like the Storm, and as of today, your review of the Storm is rated most useful.
I hope to try a Storm in the near future. For a phone that is getting such a bad rap, the VZW stores sure can't keep them in stock.

Still can't keep them in stock after this long. Despite the hate, it's selling very well!
