Sure, that works for me. I'm glad someone is able to translate what I said into "dumb."
I don't have enough time to go through instance after instance concerning why or how I come to the conclusion that the Palm phone "sux" (as you so eloquently put it). Not only would there be a lot to cover, I would gladly ignore the Palm devices and focus on something else that works more reliably.
Look, some people use, love, and work well with Palm devices. That's great. I've spent many years watching these devices, above all, have issue after issue with little to no design changes made in effort to improve the device.
No device is perfect. Palm, in my professional and experienced opinion, is one of the farthest from perfection.
Also, to "lawmen23" concerning his 8/7/08 post adamant that I was wrong and that both the Treo 800 and Blackberry Thunder were to be released on August 23rd, I apologize for not replying to your post sooner, but I hate to point out that as of 8/25/08 (today) I haven't seen any indication of any phone release save the amazing and wonderful (sarcasm intended) Blitz. Where did you get YOUR information? Where are the phones?
To my knowledge (things happen over the weekend, and I'm home from work today), there has been no announcement that the Thunder will even exist. Both Verizon AND RIM have kept quiet on this device - all we know about this device comes from the few of us on the inside who leak news to sites like Phonescoop or Engadget. Nothing is official until the carrier and manufacturer announce it (and even then it's subject to change).
Please, if you know something I don't, let me know.
