As much as I like at&t, I'm gonna have to say: Treo 800w wins. It does WAY more than the iPhone, hands down!

I happen to think both are very good products, and whichever you feel would suit your needs and wants the best is what you should get.

I never believed in that if one product is good the other sux. Choice is good. Needs are different

Another option before you pick either is the new Nokia E71, nice, small and slim. The phone is not sold by AT&T but can be had for $420 and no contract and with a full Nokia USA warranty. A regular AT&T medianet plan is all that is needed not a PDA plan. Which means NO contract extension. And it does support the AT&T and Rogers 3g HSDPA radios. BTW the camera on it, if thats important to you is better then both the Palms and the iPhones. And to be honest, to me that is not a big deal. But to other...

Yeah the e71 looks great, but they are having tons of reception issues and the took away the blackberry connect feature. You might as well just get a berry now. Unless you really love the symbian OS that much.

I'm having no problems with reception, holding onto hsdpa signal pretty damned good. Who knows, the initial batch could have had "issues". But I'm slightly to moderately upset over the BB Connect. I did download the software from Nokia for it, I wonder if it will work? But, wrong forum for this. And apologize over it.

I would like to see the new Treo Pro, seeing I use a GSM carrier. If its anything like the 800w its going to be real nice.

Have you seen the negative press on the iphone, go read engadgetmobile.com and look at all of the issues they are having. There has already been 3 software updates in less than a month. Thats just ridiculous.

The iphone was rushed to market and att's 3G network is subpar. Go with sprint or verizon if you want real high speed cell data. And if you can wait, the all touchscreen blackberry storm will be out in October (hopefully).

Good luck if you go with the iphone, but there is no way I would look into a plan and pay $30 bucks a month for that piece of garbage. If you stay with att, get a blackberry bold--now that should be an awesome device!

Good Luck,

Chris
