800p?

Anyone have any idea when an 800p may be realeased? I'm prefer the Palm operating system, and since this phone is designated 800w instead of just 800, I assume there will be an 800p?

no such phone in plans w. sprint or palm they are concentrating on low end palm phones such as the centro. It'll be a long wait for another Treo.

Palm has recognized/conceded that Palm OS is a far inferior OS than WM and thus will not be making any more phones with Palm OS, WM only from here on out until they complete a completely new (not "upgrade" but rather from the ground up new) Palm OS which I think if memory serves is called Nova at this point but likely won't be seen on a handset for at least 2 years

I heard they were gonna go with Li-mo, but I'm not sure...I love palm os, and am not a big fan of win-mo...I've got a 700W at home, and a centro in my pocket...should say something

The Centro is essentially the Palm OS version of this phone.

If you are saying that the Centro is a smaller thicker version of the 800w with the palm operating system, with totally different size keyboard you would be correct.
