Did anyone return their Instinct for the TREO 800w?

And why?

Just curios because I was promised a lot more from the Instinct at the store only to later find out that Sprint had no intention of providing what I wanted. I at least wanted the ability to read email attachments. I didn't need the ability to edit them but at least read my Word, Excel, or even PDFs while I was mobile. That was my breaking point.

I ended up giving the instinct to my wife when I got the treo. I'm a long time windows mobile user and she has never had anything more the a razr so she is very very happy with the instinct. And I couldn't be happier with the treo. 😁

I did. I am an employee and I bought the Instinct the day it came out. I returned it as soon as we got out Treo 800's in. The Instint really is a piece of junk. In every way!

I disagree. I think the Instinct has a fantastic GUI. Only, you can't change it. But it does have probably to best touch screen out.

However, I need my phone to operate as a business management tool. So... I returned it for the 800w.

Windows 6.1 is certainly a mixed bag. the phone itself seems pretty solid. So far so good. I have almost 200 contacts stored in the tre, the instinct could only hold around 500.

As a business tool - no comparison. Treo by a landslide.

BTW - anyone have any suggestions for aftermarket Business contact management programs for the Treo 800w / windows 6.1 ???
