I tried Windows Mobile 2 yrs ago. Part of my problem is that I was used to the Symbian OS after having used Nokia off and on for many years and found similar functions on the Windows phone kind of cumbersome. At the time, I think the voice command was something extra I had to pay for but it comes with Symbian. After about a month, I couldn't take it any more and bought a new Nokia. Maybe those phones are easier to use now that there's a different OS version than I had. If you like Windows, you will probably love a Windows phone.

My BJII slowly broke - it's that stupid connector.

First the earpiece stopped working. Why they have the earpiece and charger plug in the same spot is beyond me. Especially one that's poorly designed.

Then a couple months later the charger stopped working when plugged in. You could push it in hard and it would work... but there was no way to keep it in, short of holding it.

I had trouble finding charges all along but eventually found a couple online that worked. I guess now the charger port is more common, so there are more accessories for it, but it's too late.

From the beginning I just knew that would be what killed the phone. Sucks to be right sometime.

Oh, and I hate WM6. And 5 (Dash). Don't read a long e-mail or it really...

I really wanted to like the Nokia E71x. I had used Nokia phones for years back in the TDMA years and really liked the way their phones work. I liked the slim size and the way the phone looked. However, in using the phone, there were several things that turned me off. First of all, I have, like most people, have more than 1 personal email address. The software that is built into the phone only allows you 1 personal and 1 business exchange server email. I had to download Nokia Messaging to get my extra email addresses. And even then, I had 1 address (my main one of course) that would receive mail, but not send it.

I also synch my contacts and calendar through my computer. Here again, I had to download the software to do that from Nokia's s...

I have tried both. I much prefer the WM 6.1 (upgradeable to 6.5) of the Jack. Both are similar devices. Build on the Nokia is slighlt better and it is a bit thinner. Key boards are basically equal, both good. I could not get the Nokia to sync with my work computer. I am able to sync and use Xpress mail to get my work email, and calendar with the Jack.

I also like the icons on the Jack. even though the Nokia is supposed to have a better screen. I didn't see it.

Jack was and is my choice!
