Nokia E71 / E71x
E71-2 Reception Issues?
I've read on one blog that the E71-2 has trouble staying on 3G and HSDPA on AT&T in the US. Anyone here have a e71-2 and live in a 3g area with knowledge about this?

I got mine at NYC Nokia store (E71-2) and have used it in Brooklyn and Miami. No problems whatsoever.

In both San Francisco and Chicago, no problems with 3G reception on AT&T. he only problem is that when in an area with 3G service, the battery will not last through the day with light to moderate useage. I normally keep the 3G switched off unless I need to access the Web.

No reception problems whatsoever. 3g coverage in NJ is pretty damn good now, and with heavy use (web browsing, youtube) the phone lasts 3 days which is pretty good.

I second that, solid 3g bars all over my area of the jersey shore.

I have had the E71-2 for 5 months now and it definitely has reception issues. I noticed after browsing the internet if you get a call it will drop the call. If you hold it a certain way the coverage bars can go from 4 bars to none.
I am in a good coverage area, I really like the phone but it drops calls constantly. I wonder how the E71x is with reception.
