E71 on Verizon??

I saw that the E71 has a CDMA band radio, so I presume this means it will work on the US Verizon network.

*How do you activate it on Verizon (since none of my Verizon phones has had a SIM chip)?

*Does Verizon require you to have an unlimited data plan with it?

*Can you use it to tether to laptop as a cell modem on Verizon (technically and legally)?

Thank you,
Matthew

The E71 WILL NOT WORK on Verizon. The E71 uses GSM (ie: AT&T or TMobile) and not CDMA (Verizon). It may operate on the same frequency bands.. but not the same technology.

Buy one if you don't believe me. But you will be wasting $400 on a phone that WILL NOT WORK on Verizon.
