Fanboy denial does not help the cause

The 3G Iphone has a score lower then 2.50 right now. That is horrible!!!! Everyone that has a negative review is consistant with all of the other negative reviews. Come on Fanboys! Get with it and show Apple that you will not tolerate subpar equipment. Unlike the first Iphone, this one really is a dud! The sooner you realize it and stand up to Apple the sooner they will fix the problem. They won't fix what people don't complain about. As soon as the fullment people get their phones, only then will Apple see mass returns.

While I agree with you, there are also a lot of fake reviews from haters who don;t even own the iPhone, so it sounds like it's still pretty balanced.

I'll confess to being a fanboi, but after less than 2 weeks, I admit I'm a bit let down.

The key will be if Apple gets out some quick fixes for some of the issues like NO SOUNDS!!!!

This is my ONLY phone and it does me little good if i can;t hear it ring.

I would suggest that you contact your fanboy friends and have them stop posting reviews of such positive nature just to bump the numbers up. You know as well as I do that Apple will not lift a finger if nobody complains. It just amazes me that when you look at this forum, HowardForums, the complaints are consistant and not made up just to cause trouble! We all bought our Iphones hoping for the best and we were let down.

I know many people that have returned there phones to our store in town and when I ask the CSR's about returns, they deny that anyone has returned them. Gotta love CSR's.

dude in the store around the corner from my house they have had almost 30% of the iphones returned in about a week. i kid u not. my friend works there and said it was amazing how many pissed off people he had to help out. at one point there was so many returns they had to go to the bank to withdraw money so that they could have enough cash for retuns. crazy 😲

So you're saying that even people who paid with a credit card received cash back for returns? Wrong. You are lying and exaggerating and no self respecting Apple Store would have their employees go to the bank for money. Maybe the dumbest thing I've ever read.

I do have to agree here. I own the previous model and have carried the 3g model for a couple weeks and I do not think it's as good either.
The signal is not as good as the previous as well as the battery. I also agree that you shouldn't have to turn 3G off to conserve battery...just stick with the old one if that's the case...
If you press the screen you can see distortion (try that with an old one), which leaves me to believe that it is not as durable which is really saying something cause the old one couldn't withstand a single 3foot drop.
Also looks very cheap...Whoever heard of a plastic iPod? Why would anyone want a plastic iPhone? I know it saves cost, but I would rather have quality than save a penny... oh well. 😕

why turn off the 3G to conserve the battery when you're not using it? Do you leave the flashlight on all the time, in case you need it? Be an adult, turn on 3G when using the net, or don't, and don't complain, not really that difficult.

The point is it is an inconvenience to have to turn it off when i'm done with myspace then turn it back on wait for it to connect then go to ebay...turn it off again and later turn it back on connect and search google. It's silly.
I'm not saying it's a bad phone they just should've taken battery life in consideration when making a 3g capable device. I don't have to turn 3g off on my Duo,my Q9, or my Tilt. I like the iPhone better than all of these but to take up for Apple for poor battery life, signal, and a cheap made phone is crazy. You can buy it if you would like, but if I (NOT YOU) had to turn 3g off of a 3g capable device I would just buy an old model on ebay and stick with paying $10.00 less per month. 😉
