I currently have a Samsung i730 running WM5 that really pisses me off. Constant lock ups and corruptions. Since I have a Mac anyway, I figured I should look at the iPhone and with iPhone 2.0 software, I have to say I'm impressed. However, does anybody know know if/when the iPhone will get the following things:

-copy/paste
-FULL MS Office (like on my Windows Mobile phone)
-a file brower

don't do it buddy !!!!

if theat is att i recomend the tilt, personally when it comes to win software i prefer the touch screens than non touch.
I phone strill lacks in some things and new soft ware is what you may like. It is geared toward business users.

All windows based phones have issues locking up and freezing just like a windows OS on your computer. The easiest thing to do most times is to backup all your files and format the phone just like you would a computer. The iPhone has glitches sometimes but not nearly as much as anything windows. I have had about every phone you can imagine. I had a 730 on verizon...kept it for two years before switching to at&t and getting the moto Q9. It was a great phone...I just missed out on some features because I kept it so long.

Windows Mobile 6 is much better and much more user friendly. I think you'll like it much more than going to the Iphone.

Copy/Paste not supported yet, but maybe down the road with software update. FULL MS Office will be available with iPhone 2.0 software with release of 3G iPhone. File browser will be available with MobileMe with release of new iPhone. You'll love the ease of connecting to your Mac. No brainer switch if you ask me.

In response to your questions.

-Copy/paste Yes. I have heard the new iphone is to do this. (Also the new 2.0 release as well)

-Full MS Office Unknown. However, there could be a software that would have MS Office like features after the release of the app store or MS might just release one. (I ...
