Want to upgrade

Ready for this? I want to upgrade my MOTO V710. I tried an ENV2 but returned it because the earpiece audio was a little too low. (loved it otherwise) I was thinking of the 8360. Any advice? I know the 710 wasn't very popular, but I have always had great reception with it. I'm always a little leery of making the leap. Can someone help push me? 👀

Just do it. I don't have this phone, but I seriously considered it. I went with a Palm Centro bc I needed a bit more in my phone, but the reviews on this are unbelievable, and I have played with it in the store. Coming from a V710, I don't see how you'll go wrong.

Given the fact that people now seem to be returning this phone, maybe you should look at the Moto W755. Now THAT phone I DID own and it is durable, well built, has the soft rubber grip, and has traditional Moto reception (great).

Hey Analogphoneguy! You know if you get the 8360, you have 30 days to try it out. I own this phone and love it. It's solid, great reception, loud ringers, clear screen, inside and out, great battery life, awesome deep blue color with light grey keypad, easy texting, and you can read texts on front screen. Most of the reviews for this phone are very positive. Give it a shot, you can always return it if you don't like it. If you decide on this one, let us know how you like it. Good luck!! 😁

For the people that have this , , , , How many days on the battery? Average talk time. Don't give me the "specs" but your times, please. Is your Bluetooth off? I know that sucks battery down.

Hi old male! First, yes, my bluetooth is off, I really don't use that feature. As far as the battery life, if you are just talking, it depends, cause some days are different than others. Some people talk for hours, others just a little and so on. I would say for me, the battery lasts at least 3 or 4 days, and that's with average talking, texting, and scrolling through wallpaper sites. But depending on how you use it and what you do, it will be different for everyone. Overall, I would say battery life is pretty good on this phone. Hope that helps.

Thanks all. I did have an opportunity to hold one of these and make a test phone call. I like the build, screen and sound quality, and features. My main concern is reception. My 710 has worked where others sometimes haven't. I'll watch these reviews a little while longer. Thanks again. I'll post when I make the jump!

Forget it. The Moto 710/815 series had the best reception of any phone - ever. I have had several LG's since over the last few years, and I really like them (much less "glitchy" than the Motorolas) - but none of them are anywhere near the Moto in reception. My wife still has her E815 and I am using a VX8300 right now. Standing right next to her, I get "no service" in places where she gets a good signal. It's really not even close. I like my LG's, and I do intend to get the VX8360, but I already know I will never duplicate the reception of the old Moto 710 that died a long time ago....
