Fuze phone question

I have to make a call several times a day where I need to input a series of numbers in response to prompts once the initial call is made.

I bring up the keyboard and input the initial numbers, but the backlight goes out very quickly. So to put in the next set of numbers, I have to push the power on button and then put in the next set. And so on, and so on. This is annoying.

I have the backlight set to stay on two minutes in the settings. And it does, except for when the phone is used.

And help?

If you are holding some phones up to your ear instead of using a headset, either corded or bluetooth the screens shut off. I haven't played with this phone but I know people were complaining about that with the iPhone.

I don't own the Fuze myself, but I've reading up on it and found this app which stops the screen from blanking during calls:

I think that's what you're looking for?

This is kind of late however may be helpful. The phone has a proximity sensor it will shut the screen off . You can turn this sensor off but why would you? For simultaneous data and voice use a bluetooth. The phone is lagged a bit by the speaker phone.
