Signal problem?

I just got this phone last week, and every call I make in my house gets dropped. I called VW and they sent me another brand new choc 3, and same thing happens. I have had VW for years and never had a service problem in my house. It barely held the call long enough to activate the phone, and it took me several attempts just to get that through 😕

So far anywhere other than inside my home it has worked fine. But when Im in here I cannot talk longer than 30 secs without it hanging up on someone, constantly. Anyone else have this problem? The tech told me they are working on a software update for this phone and that may help my problem, but he isnt sure when its coming out. I have 30 days to choose a diff phone, but I really like th...

I just got this phone for my wife last weekend. Today for the fist time she missed a call. I mean it just beeped saying there was a voice mail but no call came through at all. This happened all the time with her last phone, a 4 year old motorolla. That was the biggest reason we got rid of it. I have not experienced a problem at all with my LG 8700 or my Nokia 6315i (which I need to replace, that constant beeping at work every time I lose signal is driving me nuts!). I do hope that whatever software problems the tech you talked to claims to be getting fixed does. This is a really nice phone but we have to be able to count on it. Say something on here if you find out more. Please.

I may have to start looking for another phone before my 30 days are up. 😢

Weird because I am not having a problem where it goes straight to VM or doesnt ring. The phone rings, I pick it up and the person is there, but about 10-30 secs into the convo it just drops the call and phone says "call was lost". at the time i have 3 signal bars, so i just dont understand it. again, no problem with txts in or out or VMs, and the second i leave my house in my car down the street its fine and i have full signal and no dropped calls. i am going to hang on to it a few more days/weeks as well but may end up trading it in before 30 days too. stinks, bc i really like it.

This kind of thing must be a per phone problem. So far as I know, it's only happened one time with my VX8560. But I would only know if somebody leaves a voice mail. Funny thing, it just happened to a guy a work with just a few minutes ago. I called and left a message, he was just down the hall, the call never did show up but 20 minutes later it beeped saying he had a voice mail. He has an iphone. I can accept it once in a while, as long as it doesn't become a habit like it was with the motorolla I just got rid of.
