LG Chocolate 3 VX-8560

I haven't seen much if any mention of any VX8560 class problems on the Internet and Verizon says they're unaware of any problems so the problem may be confined to just me. I'm beginning to think that the problem may be my 2G MicroSD card. Although I never had problems with it when I used it with my VX8300 I put the card into a floor sample Choc3 and was able to duplicate my problems. I then went home and connected the card directly to my PC via a card reader (no phone involved) and it appears to be quite corrupted. Now did my VX8560 cause the corruption or is the card defective? I'm not sure. I plan to pull as much data as possible off the card and try to reformat it with the phone. Then I'll copy the data back (music and pictures) and see what happens.
