Your review makes no sense. Don't get me wrong, it's okay to not like the size of the phone, but you rank it a 2 out 5 ONLY because it's too big? The phone is a new line, it's not meant to be an upgrade to the curve, that's going to be the Javelin. You just made yourself irrelevant.

First of all, if you are going to correct someone at least make sure you know who you are talking about. Cingular is no longer in business.. they were absorbed by AT&T Monility. The Bold IS an upgrade to the curve just like the Nokia 2610 is an upgrade to the 6010 and previous models. Yes it is a new line but does that mean that it is not an upgrade of a current product?

Huh? the guys name is "CingularSUX" I am not making any statements about Cingular.

The Bold is NOT an upgrade in the same line as the Curve, the javelin is an upgrade to the Curve. The Bold is "9000" for a reason.

i agree with pepsijunky, The Bold is in an entirely different line than the curve, and has nothing to do with the curve. the 8900 is also called curve. If the Bold was meant to be an upgrade to the curve it would also be called the curve, which it is not.

I rest my case.

Hey, I think pepsijunky was responding to a review by someone named "CingularSUX". It is pretty crazy that they loved the phone and the only Con was the size and that dropped it from a "5" to a "2". Came from a Curve and an iPhone, and I honestly like the size a little better.

Actually the Bold's model is 9000, so that would make it an upgrade to the 8800.

Sort of, but it's definitely not an upgrade to the curve.

The Blackberry Curve 8900 is the upgrade to the Curve (no 3G on this phone). I have not seen it yet, but besides the name I bet it is 'curved' like the Curve. The 9000 is a combination of the Curve and the 8800, the size is like the 8800 but it has the features of the Curve and unlike both of them it has 3G and Wi-Fi. I can understand that someone does not like the Bold because of its size, they should get the 8900 which has the upgraded screen and OS. I am going to go with the Bold, but if the 8900 had 3G and Wi-Fi I probably would go with that, as I love the curve and its smaller size. That will probably happen in version 3 of the curve (wonder what number that is going to be?) or version 2 of the Bold.
MIF.
