Samsung Saga i770

I jsut boght the i770 and setup the phone with Active Sync. I currently have Active Sync setup to download messages as they come in,and switch to manual after 6:00 PM, similar to old Motorola Q phone. My problem is that I can not get a full work day out of the battery. I am very dissapointed.

I spoke to Samsung Tech Support and they said the battery or phone may need replaced. I pushed the tech on the issue and asked about how much time I could get out of the phone if I played music. She said the batery would die within 2 hours. If this is the case, what is the point with the phone?

I am wondering if anyone else any experience with the battery life or if you have any suggestions for how to setup the phone to allow me to stay in business with this phone? Or is it best to just send it back?
