Saga vs.....

I am very intrigued with the Saga, seeing as I use a Treo 700wx now, it seems like it would be a smooth transition. I have been due for an upgrade for a while now, but I am holding out for a better device that what is currently available.

My conflict though is that there are not many reviews out yet, and I really wonder how the Saga stands up to the competition that is reported as being picked up by VZW soon.

Seeing as we are only allowed one test device before we are stuck, I want to scope this out as much as possible. What I want to ask, is does anyone have any side-by-side knowledge of how the Saga stands up to the Touch Pro (AKA the VX6850 reported as being picked up on 11-24), Omnia (12-15), Diamond (Jan. 2009), or Treo 800w (no ...

The Curve is a solid contender agains most other phones. The BB OS in the phone is faster than WinMo. But the Curve lacks wi-fi. Though not the end of the world, its still a fairly small phone with decent battery life, and a good keyboard layout.

The Saga has WinMo, Wi-Fi, 3G, World roaming ability, 3 ways to navigate screens.
And full keyboard and real physical buttons to simply pick up the phone and start dialing a phone number with.

I work on the helpdesk at my job, I have dealt with the Storm (crap), the Omnia(more crap) and
I can say after working with both, THe BB Curve and the Samsung Saga are both good phones that actually work and are a pleasure to use. 2 people here got Storms, by Friday I was re-activating their old phon...

I tried the saga and must say that the implementation of Windows mobile on other devices (aside from Palm) is disappointing to say the least. If you're still on the 700wx, give it a few more months when hopefully VZW will release one of the new treo's - I hope!
