Actually its not just GSM that cause electronic interference. I work computers for a living and my boss had Verizon and this cause the same noises that you would hear with GSM phones. The computer speakers will actually make noise right before you receive a call or message. But its the cellphones that cause the problem. I had an 8925 and my boss had an older flip phone from Verizon. I'm not sure of the brand it was.
