Hi all! I am a newbie. A neophyte. An old man. I do not know much about the latest technology, but I do know enough to ask those who understand such things...such the motivation for my post.

I am considering switching to Sprint and purchasing a Blackberry Curve. Currently I use a mobile phone and while on the phone I take notes (phone orders and such for my business) using a Palm Pilot. I would like to consolidate my devices and this is where my question comes.

Is is possible to talk on the Blackberry Curve and at the same time use the memo function to take notes? If so, is bluetooth required for this to happen or while talking is it possible to look up information (ie the phone address book and prior memos) and add new data?

Yes, you can input notes, schedules, etc while talking. A Blackberry can do just about anything except scratch your back. I have been with 3 of the four major carriers; AT&T, Verizon and Sprint. All three have their advantages/disadvantages and you must make your decision based on where you will be located say 90% of your time especially if you travel out of the country. I do not leave the US and I have been a Sprint customer for over three years and am pleased with the service overall, especially over the last 4-5 months and they certainly bundle the best rates/services for Blackberries.
Good Luck

I love the speed and applications that are pre-loaded on my BB, and then downloading extra applicat...
