Spelling a phone number

I don't know of there is a cure for this, but sometimes you will hear a phone number that is actually a word, like 877-CALL-DON. Obviously, you cannot enter that on the phone, because the letters will not correspond to numbers, as on a regular phone. Is there a downloadable software program that will let you enter the word and provide you with the corresponding numeric keys? Anyone have a solution for this?

all you do is hit the alpha key and type in the word. (you will need to hit the alpha key for each letter) Once its all typed in his send and it will dial the number.

Wow, I never knew that . . .and my fiance' and I were running all over the house trying to find the phone number to Jet Broadband the other day and we both could have just used our phones! LOL!

Thanks for the info!
